@KevinTroyGA@perprebuild@realboshek@NjTank99 Steve Cohen's Metropolitan Park is planned to replace the surface parking around Citi Field. I think that's more analogous.
WIllets Point (what's in the picture) is being redeveloped into housing and a new MLS stadium for NYCFC
@hbunsis@James_Schiano xBA isn't 1-Catch Probability.
xBA looks at how likely a ball is to land given it's launch angle and exit velo, ignoring field, weather and where the ball is hit.
Catch probability looks at how likely a ball is to be caught given a distance/time/angle.
@JLEdwardsIII Do you know something we don't re: Deuce?
It might be overly optimistic to assume he'll just come back and join the team like nothing happened; but at least with regards to what's been reported publicly, it seems equally pessimistic to say he's out for the year.
@thebs19@mikemayer22@baseballpro Pretty sure I heard Keith Law imply Watson is his top Mets pitcher not on his top 100. Though I’ve been seeing a ton of Wenninger hype
@WexlerRules@TheMetsX Assuming you want Mauricio to get regular ab's in AAA, who's you're backup infielder? I think Brujan will be battling with a few MiLB guys for that spot (e.g. Cluff, Arroyo, Cheng if he clears waivers).
@WexlerRules@keithlaw@Mets Are there any examples of guys who've gotten good glove-side movement on pitches while being as over-the-top on their deliveries as Tong?
@Rayrod22 @jwr020819 The Mets waived Montas because he was dead money with his injury. All they did was clear a 40 man spot.
Very different situation with Senga/Manaea
@MGK118730@PSLToFlushing@MLBPipeline Stole 70 bases last year. If he can get on base at a decent rate, his speed could make him a great WAR guy with his defense up the middle and base stealing ability.
@2_seamfastball The backup IF is not going to get at bats unless there's an injury. If all we need is a defensive replacement than I'd say just stick with one of Cheng(if he clears waivers)/Cluff/Arroyo.
You could always call up Mauricio later if an injury opens up more playing time.
