जय भीम साथियों, मेरी जीवनसाथी अज़रा इस समय गंभीर बीमारी से जूझ रही हैं। उन्हें दो तरह के रेयर एब्डॉमिनल ट्यूमर हैं और मेदांता अस्पताल (गुरुग्राम) में उनका इलाज चल रहा है।

नवंबर 2022 में इन्हीं ट्यूमर की सर्जरी कराई गई थी लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से ये ट्यूमर फिर लौट आए हैं। इस बार मामला क्रिटिकल है और अज़रा को मल्टीपल सर्जरी और कीमोथेरेपी वग़ैरह से गुज़रना होगा।

यह बीकानेर का दस साल का पारस है। कुछ ही दिन पहले एक बहुत ही भयानक लापरवाही वाली दुर्घटना में इसके पिता की मृत्यु हो गई। यह हादसा बेहद लापरवाही और इंजीनियरिंग भूलों के साथ बने हुए देशनोक पुल पर हुआ। ये लोग भाजपा से जुड़े हुए थे। लेकिन इनके परिवारों के लिए आंदोलन किया कांग्रेस के लोगों ने। ऐसा बहुत बार होता है, जब एक पार्टी सत्ता में होती है और अपने ही कार्यकर्ताओं को न्याय नहीं देती। तब सामने वाली पार्टी के लोग आते हैं। यह छोटे और पुराने शहरों की रवायत है। बड़े शहरों में अपनी पार्टी के अपराधी भी निर्दोष और सामने वाली पार्टी के निर्दोष भी अपराधी घोषित कर दिए जाते हैं। लेकिन राजस्थान के बीकानेर जैसे शहरों में अभी भी इन्सानियत बहुत बची हुई है। वहाँ उस धर्म या जाति की बात नहीं देखी जाती, जिसे राजनीति के सौदागर बेचते हैं, बल्कि लोक धर्म और लोक जाति को देखा जाता है, जिससे संवेदनाओं के तार इन्सानियत के ढेरिए पर कातकर तैयार किए जाते हैं।

मैंने इस बच्चे के विडियो को युवा कार्यकर्ता केशव के फ़ोन पर देखा तो इसने भीतर तक हिला दिया।

पारस के पिता कई दिन पहले भयानक सड़क दुर्घटना में पांच अन्य लोगों के साथ बुरी तरह कुचल दिए गए, लेकिन बच्चा अब भी फोन लेकर पापा-पापा पुकारता है। मैं सच कहता हूँ, आप ये वीडियो देखकर रो पड़ेंगे!

कश्मीर के पहलगाम में आतंकवादियों के हाथों मारे गए 26 लोगों की घटना ने पूरे देश को हिला दिया है। हालांकि आतंकवादी घटना इंसानियत पर जानबूझकर किया गया भयानक और कभी भी क्षमा करने लायक अपराध नहीं है, जबकि सड़क दुर्घटना प्राणघातक लापरवाहियों का आपराधिक नतीजा है। आतंकवाद नफरत की उपज है, सड़क दुर्घटना हालात और लापरवाहियों से उपजी विडंबना।

लेकिन एक तथ्य देखने लायक है आतंकवादी घटनाओं में भारत में एक जनवरी 2021 से अप्रैल 2025 तक 350-500 लोगों की मौत का अनुमान है, जिसमें नागरिक, सुरक्षाकर्मी और कुछ आतंकवादी शामिल हो सकते हैं। हालांकि यह आंकड़ा बहुत सतही और मीडिया रिपोर्टों पर आधारित है, क्योंकि व्यापक, तथ्यात्मक और आधिकारिक डेटा अभी अनुपलब्ध है। लेकिन इसे इससे दुगुना भी माना जा सकता है, लेकिन 1 जनवरी 2021 से अप्रैल 2025 तक भारत में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में अनुमानित रूप से 7.85 लाख लोग मारे गए। यह संख्या भी बहुत सटीक नहीं है, क्योंकि 2025 के आंकड़े अनुमानित हैं। आधिकारिक आंकड़ों के लिए सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय या राष्ट्रीय अपराध रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो (NCRB) की 2025 की वार्षिक रिपोर्ट की प्रतीक्षा करनी होगी।

लेकिन कल्पना करें कि कहाँ सात लाख 85 हजार लोगों को हमारी लापरवाहियों के कारण सड़कों पर दम तोड़ना पड़ता है और कहाँ 500 लोग!

यानी आतंकवादियों ने जितने लोगों को 1580 दिन में मारा, हमारी सड़कों पर हम तो उतने लोग एक दिन में मार डालते हैं!

क्या सड़कों पर मारे जाने वाले लोग उसी धर्म के नहीं हैं, जिस धर्म के वाहन चालक हैं? आखिर सड़कों पर दौड़ते इस आतंकवाद को हम कब रोकेंगे और किसी दिन इस मासूम बच्चे की बात उसके पापा से करवाएंगे? मैं एक बार फिर कह रहा हूँ कि आतंकवाद से मारे गए एक व्यक्ति की तुलना भी दुर्घटनाओं में मारे गए हजारों से लोगों से भी नहीं की जा सकती; लेकिन जीवन तो जीवन है, इन्सान तो इन्सान है और बच्चा तो बच्चा है। उसे अपने पापा भी चाहिए, माँ भी! इसलिए थोड़ा सड़कों पर तांडव मचाते आतंकवाद की भी फिक्र करें। इस बच्चे को कौन लाकर देंगे उसके पापा!
