Planting season has begun post #lockdown. This morning at @BaildonGolfClub we planted 30 saplings on the green next to the car park. And the sun came out to help us celebrate #NationalTreeWeek πΏ

This Autumn, this Fall #LeaveTheLeaves. If you really must have a tidy garden they can be raked into garden beds and flower beds or as a mulch around the tree. Or left as a pile in a corner of the garden to overwinter. Put your feet up guys.

Each year we mark the first 30 days of Autumn for this campaign, as its the perfect time to gather local tree seeds ready to plant in the winter.

@thedeptofclouds You're right. Most are in a very bad state for reuse and not tall enough to guard against deer. They do need removing though - a total eyesore
