In my Christian Missions class, we got to create devotional books. I chose to write about how food in the Bible reveals God’s character, and I included a recipe with each entry.
I have recommended this movie to so many people since watching it. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to watch this and spend time in discussion and reflection on it!
Watching the movie Paperclips has been an eye opening experience. School should be a place where students are encouraged to change the world, and this documentary is living proof of that statement!

The other day in class we learned about the importance of educational data! It’s hard to imagine teachers having to use data in their classrooms, but teachers can’t be successful without it!
I loved hearing from Dr. Wood last week about gifted education! She gave me and my peers such a great insight into the complexity of gifted education and how we as teachers can be prepared to tackle that area of our profession.
The Alabama Archives was so helpful in understanding how teachers can use state resources around them in their classroom! I also loved their presentation because it was fun and hands on!
Looking back on the semester and reflecting on the faculty meeting my peers and I attended! It was so interesting to observe and I loved seeing the behind-the-scenes of the schools and classrooms!
It was great to be a part of the TCES faculty meeting yesterday! It was great to see how even teachers need to come together and get a refresher and continue practicing!
We were delighted to welcome @Bradley_Collins and @ChrissyMetz to campus last week for our special master class! Thank you both for sharing your new book with @SamfordU
