Southeast Asia is on track to capture roughly half of all new data centre capacity growth across Asia excluding China over the next five years, a sign of just how central the region has become to global digital infrastructure.
At the @Mingtiandi Singapore Forum, Drew Chen shared his perspective on what is driving that momentum. Demand is being shaped by accelerating local digital consumption and capacity requirements being redirected from increasingly constrained US markets in his view. Hyperscaler expansion across AI workloads is amplifying that further, raising the bar for what infrastructure platforms need to deliver.
Singapore is till the region's central node, Drew noted, but the opportunity is broader. Markets including Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Jakarta are emerging as interconnected growth corridors, and precisely the markets where our portfolio company Bridge Data Centres is focused.
Looking ahead, he sees technical depth to deliver AI-ready infrastructure at scale as the differentiators that will matter most, as well as execution capability and access to capital. Our investment in Bridges reflects that conviction.
In a recent episode of The Future of Healthcare AI, we speak with Andrew Toy, CEO of @CloverHealth, a Medicare Advantage insurer serving over 150,000 members that is rethinking what it means to be an AI-native payer.
His argument is straightforward: you can change outcomes without waiting for new science by identifying disease early enough and treating it with existing therapeutics.
Andrew also makes a compelling case for why holding the risk changes everything. When a payer is genuinely accountable for outcomes, the incentive to keep people healthier longer stops being philosophical and starts being structural.

We are pleased to share that we have invested in The Deployment Company, a new enterprise #AI deployment and services business created in partnership with @OpenAI, alongside a group of global investors including @tpg, @adventintl, @Brookfield, and many others.
The Deployment Company is built to accelerate agentic adoption, moving organizations past the pilot stage and into lasting performance gains. By combining OpenAI's technology, customer relationships, and technical talent with implementation expertise, the OpenAI Deployment Company is designed to help enterprises realize the full value of frontier AI.
For Bain Capital, this investment deepens something we have been building across our platform for years. We are already working inside portfolio companies to embed AI in ways that amplify the great work those businesses are already doing. The Deployment Company accelerates that effort.

European private credit is entering a more selective phase.
As the market expands to areas like asset-based finance, mid-market CLOs and credit secondaries, investors are looking more closely at where complexity can create differentiated value.
In this phase, relative value depends on more than yield. Documentation, collateral quality, structure and downside protection matter.
Carolyn Hastings reviewed these themes at @News_PDI’s 2026 Europe Summit, highlighting how disciplined underwriting and active portfolio engagement will be key as the European market continues to mature.
What if aging isn't inevitable, but programmable?
In our latest episode of The Future of Healthcare AI, we speak with Jacob Kimmel, co-founder and president of @newlimit. His company uses AI-powered epigenetic reprogramming to identify specific gene combinations that can reset ageing cells back toward a more youthful, functional state.
We also cover the science of cellular aging, the economics of health span, and what it could mean if the average person gained a decade or two of additional healthy life in this conversation.

David Gross recently sat down with Liz Hoffman at the @semafor World Economy Summit to discuss how shifts in the global economy and geopolitics are expanding the opportunity set across markets.
Gross described this as a growth and dislocation equation. Businesses are benefiting from sustained growth and long-term tailwinds in some areas. In others, dislocation is creating opportunities to invest behind change.
The ability to move across both is increasingly important, especially in situations where complexity creates room for differentiated outcomes.

The home improvement companies that grow in the long term are the ones that treat homeowners with professionalism, consistency, and real care.
With that in mind, we are partnering with @PowerHRG, alongside Sixth Street and Harvest Partners, LP, to support the company’s continued expansion.
This investment reflects how our Special Situations team approaches partnership capital. We look for market leaders with strong operating discipline and meaningful runway ahead, and POWER has built exactly that in a large, fragmented market.
We look forward to working with the POWER team as the company continues its next phase of expansion.

Patriots’ Day and the Boston Marathon are a unique part of our home city’s history and community spirit. The race brings together tradition, resilience, and an incredible sense of energy across Boston, and we’re fortunate to see it culminate each year at the finish line outside our doors at Copley Place.
We were proud to support colleagues who ran in the 130th Boston Marathon, in service of causes that make a meaningful impact on the communities where we live and work. Together, these runners raised nearly $73,000 for their respective non-profit partners.

Scale and flexibility matter in CLO investing, especially when deploying over time and across market environments. That's why the close of our third CLO equity fund, with approximately $1.5 billion in total commitments, marks an important milestone for our credit platform.
Our edge comes from operating across the full CLO ecosystem—issuing, managing, structuring, and investing—supported by deep research, proprietary analytics, and a consistent approach.
Grateful for our investors’ support and proud of the team driving this forward.

Dublin’s rental market is simple: demand for high-quality housing keeps outpacing supply.
Newmarket Yards was built for that reality—well-designed apartments, strong connectivity, and best-in-class amenities in the city center. It reached full occupancy after completion.
The sale reflects both asset quality and strong fundamentals.
Across Europe, we’re continuing to back opportunities that can help address housing needs while creating resilient, long-term assets.
