Wuthering Waves 3.1 Story has easily surpassed every quest in the game for me, even 2.2 and 2.7. Aemeath has officially become my favorite character in the entire game and I knew she would the moment I saw her, but I didn't expect it to impact me this much, this quest DESTROYED ME. It had me sobbing at multiple times throughout the story, to the point of it being embarrassing lol.

They perfectly conveyed the deep philosophical themes in this patch of, Loneliness, Regret, Loss, and much more. We got so much lore dropped for Rover as well this patch, more than all other patches combined tbh. THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FOR ROVER AND AEMEATH WERE IMMACULATE!

I've never had a story in a game hit me this hard, it was extremely emotional the entire time. I played with Japanese Voice Acting and the Voice actors did a PHENOMANOL job, they perfectly conveyed the emotions of the characters, their sadness, their anger, their loneliness, their self doubt, they literally brought me to tears just on VA alone.

WHOEVER WROTE THE STORY FOR THIS PATCH PLEASE GOD HAVE THEM WRITE EVERY PATCH FOR THE GAME GOING FORWARD HOLY SHIT! The writing in this patch was top tier and the visual story telling with how expressive the characters were and how well they showed emotion is the best they have done in any patch.

The music in this patch is one of my favorites BY FAR, so many good instrumental tracks and the vocal tracks for Aemeath especially were ridiculously good AND THE TRACK WHEN YOU FIGHT SIGRILLUM OMFG!

I'm already preparing to hear so many people say "Bald guy pushing 40 crying over a gacha game", some people will just never understand good story telling and empathy. This patch was absolute CINEMA in every sense of the word and was extremely Human and relatable. The themes they conveyed are things that people deal with on a daily basis, everyone deals with loneliness and some unfortunately deal with TRUE loneliness, losing a parent, losing a daughter, losing a friend, everyone has experienced loss and loneliness, and that's often followed by regret and anger or self loathing at times.

Don't want to say too much more, I want to save it for my review video that I will be pumping out this weekend. Brace yourselves, because if you haven't noticed by all the yapping on this post, IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG VIDEO LOL PROBABLY 1 HOUR MINIMUM!
