The notion that our people do not understand the concept of democracy is a flawed one, being democratic is innate to every individual. Our focus should be, on how do we redefine democracy and build democratic principles with African characteristics. A system for us, by us.

Glad to have welcomed @RaiseTheYoung who presented a certificate to the council for the support rendered to them during their activities. Our discussion was also centred on how @PublicKmc can improve in the support of community-led associations.

I was privileged to join @BaboucarrN yesterday at the launching of his new @AndOutboost headquarters. After winning a grant through my office, I am happy to see how far this startup has grown. The ocean is big enough for all of us to win.
