@kilikikero @DesharnaisDoug @GeorgeMonbiot No need to be unkind 😁 I’m just saying that there are ways to raise livestock that promotes biodiversity and soil in a way that conventional crop growing doesn’t. It’s not universal though, there’s a lot of nuance in farming

@bradydan @DesharnaisDoug @GeorgeMonbiot Yeah I’m just saying that biodiversity wise, the farming methods to produce soya and chickpeas etc (especially non-organic) would promote less biodiversity than beef raised organically on pasture. It’s all pretty nuanced though

@mike_treestacks @DesharnaisDoug @GeorgeMonbiot Yeah, I’m thinking in a country where water usage isn’t an issue. Pasture land would likely hold more carbon content than cropped land. Organic perhaps needs more land but far less destructive, nature can thrive alongside

The farm tour gave the group a chance to see our forage rye, rotational grazing structure, winter forage and wholecrop (currently being mowed!) 🚜 🐑 🌱
