The news of fake cancer drugs allegedly being supplied to 90 hospitals in Bangalore is shocking.

But seriously, where is the accountability of the doctors and hospital management?

How did doctors not notice that the medicines were not working as expected? Why wasn't an alarm raised by doctors?

And how did hospital managements buying medicines at deep discounts not question what they were getting? Was there simply no proper verification, or did someone knowingly look the other way to save costs and make more money from patients?

How many patients might have lost their lives due to fake cancer drug,? Hospitals must be made to compensate to the families of the patients.

90+ hospitals and potentially hundreds of doctors involved in treating Cancer patients. That's not something that can be brushed aside blaming only the supplier..

There needs to be a proper independent investigation, and honestly, this warrants a CBI inquiry.
