@vijayprashad@protocol_trans Come on Vijay. The gulf monarchies are where they are because of the US, and know they can easily be removed by them. They’ve been educated in the west and have their assets in the west. Any move they make to a new security architecture, has the US pulling the strings.
@ctindale@Kathleen_Tyson_ Surely the preceding question is whether it make sense for your government to be all-in with the US, in West Asia, against China, etc. Isn’t it time to detach from the US & not be a weapons dump? The lesson from Ukraine: the US is perfectly happy to fight to the last Ukrainian.
@TomLondon6 Yes! All comes down to white supremacist mentality, though no one wants to admit it is still alive and well. Great book. The final page on courage to see has stayed with me.
@rinalu_@ZHU_DE The Bolsheviks managed a bottom-up uprising. Many of the senior officers joined the white forces. So Trotsky had to develop a cadre of military officers that could be trusted, and a new organisational structure. What makes you hate Lenin and the revolution so much?
@DavidLe76335983 Well, DE allowed US to bomb the Nordstream pipeline. European Epstein-davos class have condemned Europe to a deindustrialisation disaster. And will then conscript their populations to be cannon fodder to fight a non existent Russian threat. All so that US can target China.
@Oliver_MSA Hi Michael, I haven’t seen any interviewer ask you: why was your forecast of $150 silver by summer off? I’m sure you have reflected on this - if the methodology is off, or some extraneous factor that was overlooked. As this would enable you to improve accuracy going forward. Thx!
@Kathleen_Tyson_@robinmonotti 4) One other thought. Lenin was living in exile in Switzerland at the start of the February 1917 uprising. So he had to get passage through Germany to join the Bolsheviks. They permitted this, again because they needed to remove the eastern front from the war.
@Kathleen_Tyson_@robinmonotti 3) From all accounts, Lenin was incredibly erudite, principled, austere and hard-working. He died, age 54, regretting the Soviet bureaucracy that was growing around him. He loathed any monuments built to him.
@Kathleen_Tyson_@robinmonotti 2) There was quite a lot of unrest in German labour at the time as well, and Lenin thought ultimately that there would be a revolution there as well.
@Kathleen_Tyson_@robinmonotti 1) I don’t think Lenin was a German agent Kathleen. This was WW1, the Germans wanted to remove the Russian opponent from the pitch, and so they provided some support to the Bolsheviks, who were anti-war, and mobilising the Russian people against it.
@DavidLe76335983 It’s either a fuel crime incident, or a false flag that was prematurely notified to the police - who were not in the know and so reacted too early. To cling on to the narrative that they are still investigating links to Iran is childish, given that the “terrorists” freed on bail
