China's top smartphone manufacturers cut 2026 smartphone targets - again.
But why? It's not a memory shortage reason in this tech segment it seems.
If you have a phone well enough (12-16GB ram, 256GB+) you just simply do not have to replace it for 4-5 years, even they say: go, get an on-device edge AI capable model. If you virtue signaling, of course you'll buy a new device year by year, but that's a different scenario.
Average user simply do not needs these mass-uniformed AI features at all.
So the consumer does not replaces phones that fast any more, and does not used edge AI for all things in life.
Great news. AI data centers will. @nvidia 's Vera CPU trays consumes numerous LPDDR chips. It consumes lesser power, delivers fine enough force.
Memory market is still seems to be booming in 2026, don't you worry. Worry then when the AI race declares a winner.
To use bamboo-based everything instead of plastic-based everything? Seems this is on the go already in China.
Would be interested in the decomposition time though.

Not a day without robotic R&D advancement!
This time it is Sanctuary AI.
This is the third video like this in two weeks, where robots are not only move in a straight line of repetative tasks, but able to perform high-precision tasks in a changing environment.

24/7 drone infrastructure is getting ready - or at least is concepted heavily.
No matter the country, we are getting ready for an Animatrix-level Second Renaissance.
By the way, if you don't know Animatrix, or the Second Renaissance, I recommend this video: https://t.co/ErHRmFQIHc

China’s @DeepRobotics_CN 云深处科技 just showed how robots could support dangerous tasks like firefighting.
This leads a bit forward in terms of how robots can carry and operate various arms - however we have seen military usage in the past as well.
But I guess no one had any doubts that military use of technology will happen overnight.

Congrats @bdono_ and @kstonekuan on the demo of the data center operator half-humanoid robot demo, a really good direction.
Wish you much success guys!
If you like Three.JS, and have not worked with anime.js before, give it a try, you won't regret it.
Anyways, anime.js 4.5 is out: https://t.co/sALjIpSp9i
Steam Machine is out. Many people are compaining that 1000€ for a hardware not-so-advanced is not really a breakthrough.
Steam already did a playable hardware for almost all of a regular steam library of one, the portable Steam Deck is a powerhouse on its own. I used it regularly during my travels as a workstation as well, and have not carried a laptop.
So, for who the Steam Machine is for? I think it is the true plug and play desktop experience for gamers - made by Steam. I don't think the hardware specification is low for a mid-level gaming experience at all.
Check the spec yourself: https://t.co/WfXrMYJHZF
Seems Serbia 🇷🇸 played it right.
It appears the trade was about: Chinese Experts Help Serbia Develop High-Tech Satellite in exchange of EU-door humanoid robot assembly factory option in Serbia.
A very nice trade.
The ultimate humanoid robotics test arrived: the measurement of capability to assemble IKEA furniture.
They are beating us humans big time if they will be able to pass this test.
Challenge by @ieeeras .
