That’s not true. Marriage to a Turkish citizen doesn’t automatically grant citizenship. However, obtaining Turkish citizenship through investment is relatively easy. Buying just one qualifying property can be enough. And reportedly, 15 properties were searched. Turkish citizenship would change a lot, as Turkey generally does not extradite its own citizens.
History lesson.
In July 2023, the SEC filed its lawsuit against Richard. Nobody knew where he was or what was happening. Speculation about his location, service of process, "DOJ indictment coming for sure" fud, etc, happened for MONTHS.
We didn't know anything until Quinn Emanuel appeared in Jan 2024 and said they'd be filing a motion to dismiss, which of course they did.
But the point is: the entire time people were freaking out and selling their coins, RH was doing shit behind the scenes.
Why do people think the same thing hasn't been happening all along here? Whether this arrest was part of the overall plan or not (and it would suck if it was, really), I still believe there *is* some BTS shit we don't know about, because RH doesn't want us to know yet. Just like in 2023.
I've done very little criminal work in my career, and only when I first started out in 2001-2002. So I'm not even the guy to talk to about criminal procedure in the US, much less in Europe.
But I can refer you all back to a months-long gap in our recent history where we had no idea what was going on, and one day, he showed us all he's been one step ahead the entire time.
And people think this time is different?
Receipts:
So let me get this straight…
• You’re wanted by Interpol.
• You keep 9 cars registered to your wife, who’s probably under surveillance too.
• Police find illegal guns in your apartment.
Yep, it all adds up. Classic way to stay under the radar. 😂
Dear Mr. President @realDonaldTrump,
Richard Heart (Richard James Schueler), an American citizen and founder of HEX, PulseChain, and PulseX, was detained in Istanbul on an Interpol red notice requested solely by Finland. The notice is for alleged tax matters in Finland - not a U.S. criminal charge.
The U.S. SEC’s civil case against him (claiming unregistered offerings) was dismissed in 2025 for lack of jurisdiction.
There is no U.S. indictment.
As an American, he deserves due process and protection from being held on a foreign tax allegation that has been misrepresented in Turkish statements as “$1 billion U.S./Finland crypto fraud.”
Please look into his situation and ensure a U.S. citizen is not left stranded abroad on an inaccurate Interpol request.
Thank you. 🇺🇸
The INTERPOL red notice was requested only by Finland (issued December 2024). The offence listed on it is aggravated tax fraud (törkeä veropetos) covering roughly June 2020–April 2024.
The well-known U.S. case was a civil SEC lawsuit from 2023 alleging unregistered securities offerings (HEX, PulseChain, PulseX) that raised over $1 billion and misappropriation of ~$12 million. That case was dismissed in February 2025 for lack of personal jurisdiction; the SEC did not refile. There is no reported U.S. criminal indictment, no U.S. red notice, and the U.S. is not seeking his extradition.
