@robynlisaflynn Great choice, I've got the same one! If you ever want another one, you can buy it from my friends @DonateMask , it's the exact same one, but the $ goes towards their organization and the work they do distributing free N95 masks to people who can't afford them.
Not sure if this has been reported yet, but it appears that QC will now be opening up eligibility for flu vaccines to a much broader part of the population (if not the entire population). Expect more details in the near future.
@overjoyed_joy@ADanGrenier and I formally proposed something similar a while back and were basically met with giant shrugs from most people (including the head of the head of QC's immunodeficient patients association!)
Good news for those of you who prefer to get vaccinated in pharmacies but want to get the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine. Shortly, QC pharmacies will finally be able to order and administer it! No firm date yet but likely in the near future.
They did it. They finally did it they broke @SeeLuluRun . I'm amazed it took this long. Hats off to her for sitting through and live-tweeting EVERY. SINGLE. PRESS. CONFERENCE. I gave up over a year ago, as did most people.
Kieran Moore’s script from Monday has been translated into French. Today is Quebec’s turn.
McKinsey happily helps their clients gaslight populations in any desired language.
Every single case that is avoided or has reduced severity matters. Our system needs every bit of breathing room we can give it. This shouldn't be so complicated.
@segacs informed me of this last week...blew my mind. If our healthcare services are completely overwhelmed, and if the QC government basically refuses to do anything other than recommend vaccines to slow respiratory viral spread, this should be the mother of all lay-ups...
So today I learned that Quebec is the *only* province/territory in Canada that doesn’t offer free universal flu vaccination. 🤯
Je pense que c'est une erreur que nous allons regretter cette année @cdube_sante. Nous devons vacciner tout le monde.

Please take a few minutes and watch this. @KyroMaseh expresses what so many of us (whether pharmacists or other HCWs) are feeling right now. I hope his impassioned and emotional interview will trigger some action at the highest levels, but I'm not hopeful...
It has come to my attention that parts of my interview on Saturday were censored, and it won't be uploaded on line by CBC. So here it is in full. Human life and dignity above politics. #Tylenol shortage

This is what I feel is being lost in the current conversation. Access to healthcare in QC is at an all-time low. Ambulances, paramedics, ERs, urgent care, walk-ins, surgeries, follow-ups, etc are all affected. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Anything we can do, we should do. NOW.
Again, we’re facing a crisis and need to act. The “why” is secondary to the “what”. WHAT are the immediate steps we need to take to address the crisis?
@robynlisaflynn @FurnessColin@DonaldVinh As others have pointed out, if it's just Tylenol (not cold/flu/sinus/etc), you have nothing to worry about. And if a pharmacist made the recommendation, given that they are literally the most well-trained/informed professional with regards to this situation, you should be safe.
