Lots of pro russian Irish people telling me to ‘go to the front lines & leave Ireland’
I’ve just come here from Nikopol. The press armour is still in my bag. I watched Russian drones hunt civilians with my own eyes. That’s why the indifference here is so despicable, especially while Ireland still supplies alumina to Russias war machine.
I’m not going anywhere. This investigation continues
Dockside footage is here, a quick look:
Damage is significant to the upper parts of the superstructure, between the bridge and aft mast. Main mast have toppled, possibly from the composite itself burning up. Think we see that happening
Repairable, but will take time and money.
On 2 June, two French🇫🇷 @Armee_de_lair fighters from Baltic Air Policing, scrambled from Šiauliai Air Base 🇱🇹 to conduct several interceptions involving six Russian 🇷🇺 aircraft operating within the Baltic Area of Responsibility:
1 x Su-35 fighter aircraft
1 x Il-76 military transport aircraft
1 x Su-24 and 1 x Su-34 fighter aircraft. The interceptions were conducted jointly with two Swedish 🇸🇪 @flygvapnet Gripen fighters
1 x An-12 and 1 x An-30 reconnaissance aircraft
Under Eastern Sentry, NATO fighter aircraft routinely scramble to maintain the safety, security and integrity of NATO airspace.
The Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum of 2026 (SPIEF 2026) in Russia has started with a very fiery keynote speech by the Ukrainian surprise guests.
Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder has been spotted in Moscow.
At this point, nobody should be surprised.
For years, Schröder served as one of Putin's most valuable assets in the West. While millions of Europeans believed they were building peace through economic cooperation, the Kremlin was building leverage, influence, and dependency.
The result was catastrophic. Germany became dependent on russian energy, and Europe helped Putin grow his war machine.
Ukraine repeatedly warned that Nord Stream was not an economic project but a geopolitical weapon. Those warnings were ignored.
Today, after hundreds of thousands of casualties, destroyed cities, abducted children, and countless war crimes, Schröder is back in Moscow.
History should remember that Putin did not build his influence in Europe alone. He had help: politicians, executives, lobbyists, and intellectuals who convinced themselves that profit was more important than principles.

🇸🇪 MoD Pål Jonson: Helping Ukraine is investment in our own security. I have to give it to the Ukrainians, they are very generous with data when you provide them with equipment.
We send our systems to Ukraine and get them battlefield-tested, which gives us better platforms. Working with Ukraine on innovation has been absolutely vital for us.
Because everything we send to Ukraine, whether it’s IRIS-T, artillery, or other systems, leads to innovations in weeks or months. If we tested the same things at home, it would take years or even decades.
It has also changed whole context for us. This has inspired how we conduct our training, logistics, maintenance, and so forth.
We are trying to intercept all Russian drones, even when some of them are going in the direction of other countries, like Romania, Moldova, Poland, or the Baltic states. If we can't, we immediately notify our partners and try to help them.
Russia uses drones to pressure NATO countries and gauge the reaction. This is their typical message: Don’t help Ukraine. I think there should be a stronger response from a united NATO.
Putin is comparing this reaction to what he saw in previous years. And he is also testing air defenses of NATO countries bordering Russia or Belarus. Are they capable of intercepting all the missiles and drones?

Enough, already.
Ireland doesn’t want to discuss EU common defence clause article 42.7 during its presidency
Lies about its alumina plant supplying Russian drone manufacture.
All in the same week.
But did enjoy getting EU bailout during the financial crisis.
Solidarity for me but not for thee
One of the two Russian Tu-142s destroyed in Taganrog today by Ukrainian drones was an important Tu-142MR strategic radio-relay aircraft.
Beriev plant in Taganrog is responsible for the overhauls of these aircraft.

29.04.2014: In Luhansk, pro-Russian, masked men – including members of the Russian FSB and the GRU – storm public buildings by force. Their aim is to overthrow the Ukrainian government.
This is Nikopol, a city in Ukraine where civilians are being hunted by drones. I investigated how russians are now launching those drones FROM Europe's largest nuclear power plant at the other side of the river. Russian aggression puts the entire planet at risk of nuclear disaster, it doesn't just stop at the borders of Ukraine.
Since the Zaporizhzhia NPP was stormed, theres been almost zero international news coverage of the site, yet every day the situation deteriorates. The same soviet system of lies that led to the Chornobyl disaster is now running a nuclear facility twice the size. Every single environmental agency needs to start calling out the russian threat to our planet.
The plant is now running on diesel generators that can fail at any moment. They have already failed 15 times since the full-scale invasion. This is Chornobyl on steroids.
Whatever your views on the war in Ukraine, a nuclear disaster here doesn’t respect borders. It doesn’t care about your politics. What's happening in Nikopol is a warning.
A reminder that Russia is waging a terrorist war on Ukraine, and a reminder that standing by and watching are the richest nations on Earth, controlling the most powerful military alliance in history, an alliance created specifically to stop Russia in Europe. Sickening.
On 24 May, russia launched a mass attack on Kyiv. Over 70 people have been injured, and we can’t even estimate how many animals have suffered from this shelling.
Our thoughts are with everyone who faces the atrocities of war in Ukraine. When russia exists, no one can feel safe — and the animals can’t even protect themselves from the atrocities of war 💔

Great work by @te3ej for reporting the positions of PM-82 as well as @RFNOSBlog for drawing attention to this.
When plotted we clearly sea PM-82 moving out of the Baltic Sea heading directly to English waters, loiter for two days in the same location and heading back home.
