We must demand that our elected officials develop a concrete plan to keep illegal guns out of the hands of children. And we must not allow them to claim they care about our kids if they refuse to do so.
The results of the lack of a plan are clear- death, death, and more death.
It's unimaginable that a child would even think of doing something like this to another human being.
We've absolutely failed our kids, and it's only going to get worse.
@elonmusk The majority of votes cast in the election were for someone other than Donald Trump, and zero of them were for you. Don't act like you care about the will of the people.
@sowhat623@Zeke_Cohen I'm not saying they should or shouldn't. I'm trying to get an idea of what would happen if this turned out exactly how city council would like it to.
@FOXBaltimore It's hard to give Cogen the benefit of the doubt here. The problem should have been addressed after the first round of erroneous paychecks went out.
"You couldn't ask for a stronger mandate from the public" - @elonmusk
Trump didn't win a majority of votes. Hell, even Hilary won a larger share of the popular vote in 2016 than Trump did in 2024.
@GovWesMoore State spending in 2016 was $41.2B. In today's dollars, that's $54.8B. You spent $67.7B last year. Why point the finger? This is a bad look, man.

@TheAdvocate410 Getting money out of politics in general should be one of our top priorities. Too bad the only people who can make that happen are only the only people with the incentive to not do that.
