Paank Condemns the Extrajudicial Killing of Hassan Rafiq, Ehsan Hassan and Nadil Baloch by Pakistani forces.

Paank strongly condemns the extrajudicial killing of Hassan Rafiq, Ehsan Hassan and Nadil Baloch, whose bodies were found dumped in the Kuldan area of Dannuk, Gwadar, after all three had been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces. Paank holds the Pakistani security forces responsible for their enforced disappearance, unlawful detention and subsequent killing.

Hassan Rafiq was released on bail from Turbat Jail on 24 August 2026, but immediately after his release, he was taken away from outside the jail by Pakistani security forces. He remained forcibly disappeared until his body was recovered in Dannuk.

Ehsan Hassan, son of political figure Muhammad Hassan Baloch, was forcibly disappeared along with his brother Balach Hassan during a late-night raid on their family home in Tal Sar, Jiwani, Gwadar, on 22 January 2026. Security forces entered the residence and took both brothers away without presenting warrants or disclosing their place of detention. Contemporary accounts documented the disappearance of Ehsan and Balach following the security operation.

Nadil Baloch, a 20-year-old student and son of Muhammad Naeem from Panwan, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from his home at approximately 1:30 a.m. on 19 April 2026 during a security raid. His disappearance, together with that of several other residents of Panwan, was documented by human-rights monitors, who identified Frontier Corps and military-intelligence personnel as responsible for taking them from their homes.

The bodies of Hassan, Ehsan and Nadil were subsequently found together in Kuldan, Dannuk. A piece of paper bearing each victim's name had reportedly been placed inside the pocket of each body, indicating that those who disposed of the bodies knew their identities. Paank considers this sequence—from enforced disappearance and secret detention to the recovery of their bodies—to constitute an extremely grave human-rights violation requiring urgent international scrutiny.

In line with international human-rights standards, Paank demands an immediate, independent, impartial and transparent investigation into the enforced disappearance, detention, torture and killing of Hassan Rafiq, Ehsan Hassan and Nadil Baloch. All forensic evidence and detention records must be preserved, those responsible must be identified and prosecuted through fair proceedings before civilian courts, and the families must be provided with truth, justice and full reparations.

Enforced disappearance cannot be followed by execution and the dumping of bodies with impunity. Paank calls on the United Nations, Amnesty International and other international human-rights mechanisms to urgently intervene, press Pakistan to end enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan, and ensure accountability for those responsible.

صحافی کِیا بلوچ نے گزشتہ روز ہمارے ہفتہ وار پوڈکاسٹ میں اس بات کا انکشاف کیا کہ عسکری قیادت ماہ رنگ بلوچ کے ساتھ مذاکرات کرنا چاہتی تھی لیکن مار رنگ سے بات چیت شروع ہونے سے پہلے ہی انوار کاکڑ نے عسکری قیادت کو گمراہ کرکے مذاکرات کی کوشش کو ناکام بنا دیا۔ اب کاکڑ اور ان کے ساتھی صحافیوں کو یہ تاثر دینے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں کہ ماہ رنگ بلوچ نے مذاکرات سے انکاری تھی۔

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ماہ رنگ ہمیشہ سے مذاکرات کے لیے تیار رہی ہیں۔ دسمبر 2023 میں وہ کوئٹہ سے اسلام آباد تک ما��چ کرکے پہنچی تھیں تاکہ حکام کے ساتھ بات چیت کی جا سکے۔ جولائی 2024 میں گوادر میں بلوچ راجی مُچی کے دوران بھی انہوں نے بلوچستان حکومت کے ساتھ مذاکرات کیے تھے۔

آج بھی، جیل سے اپنے ایک بیان میں انہوں نے ایکس (ٹوئٹر) پر چیف جسٹس ��ف پاکستان سے اپیل کی کہ بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی (BYC) کے کارکنوں کو منصفانہ ٹرائل کی ضمانت دی جائے۔

کاکڑ اور بگٹی جیسے لوگ چاہتے ہیں کہ ماہ رنگ ان کے سامنے سر جھکا دیں اور ان کے احکامات کی پابندی کریں۔ لیکن ان کی شخصیت اور اصول پسندی سے تو یوں ہی لگتا ہے کہ ماہ رنگ کبھی ان کے سامنے سرِ تسلیم خم نہیں کریں گی۔

Military operations in Balochistan are being carried out amid grave and persistent abuses against civilians, including extrajudicial killings, injuries, enforced disappearances, and collective punishment.

In Killi Yar Muhammad Sonaro, Wadh, FC firing killed four civilians and injured several others, including 7 year old Shahzaib.The killing and injury of civilians, particularly children, expose the devastating human cost of military operations.

The repeated use of military force against Baloch civilians, the killing of children, and the constant fear imposed on communities cannot be dismissed as isolated incidents. This persistent pattern of violence reflects a deliberate and systematic policy aimed at suppressing the Baloch population and denying its fundamental rights.

This is genocide and it demands international action.
