Grateful to all my fellow colleagues!
6 months down in residency, great experiences so far.
Struggles, challenges and hardships but yet worth going through all this, to be the best and GOAT!

For ROL; Make sure you also consider how far are your friends and family from program of your choice. People always neglect this thing but I am telling you residency is not easy and you need your support system to go through it.
I am grateful, I made right choice.
My annual fee for MBBS was 30000 PKR. My entire MBBS for 1.5 lacs which is equivalent to 550 US Dollars. Had I not been born in Pakistan I would have not been able to become a doctor or pursue my dreams & for this I will always be indebted to my country.
@Adeel_A_Sham I didnt mean to ask this directly from PDs. But before ranking, you need to know this thing. It is very important.
26 residents from Pakistan were stuck for months this year and every program had different policy.
Ask from programs;
-Wellness of residents?
-How they support residents if they are stuck for visa after match?
-Faculty receptive to feedback by residents?
-Ask interns; how is their work life balance?
-Didactics schedule?
-Future goals of program?

Things to do before interview:
-Make sure you have gone through your ERAS CV again.
-Read about program and always be ready if they ask why our program?(Read on website, ask que in meet and greet)
-Always check camera is at right position 5 min before start of IV.
The new Zoom culture for Internal Medicine residency interviews can be challenging to ascertain the culture of a residency.
Here are some topics/questions I would ask during the session with the current residents.

@ReemSulMD Yes. Being an IMG we take every possible chance to get invite from programs. I know you wont get any reponse from most of the programs but still do it.
Tell me about yourself?
Open invite to impress your interviewer
-90sec response
-Include your background and a one-liner about what you have done so far in your life professionally
-Talk about your hobbies briefly
-What motivates you and how your friends describe you as a person

No interviews yet? Don’t worry! Long long way to go! I got my 1st interview 25-30 days after submitting my application.
Hold your nerves, your time will come it is just a start.
@BKetabchi Yes I agree. But at least for common questions its better to have structure rather than freaking out when you have to encounter that question during interview for the first time.

Interview preparation!
-Discuss attached questions with your friends who are applying.
-Practice by having virtual mock interviews with other applicants.
-Make sure you spent atleast one hour daily.
