“I’m an Internal Medicine applicant from Sohag, Egypt 🇪🇬. I finished all three USMLE Steps on my own when I came to the US and completed five rotations across West Virginia, New York, and Florida, including WVU, CAMC, and Lakeland Regional Health. Along the way, I got into research and teaching, and I’ve helped hundreds of students get through their USMLE exams. I’ve also been an IMG Ambassador with Project IMG for three years, supporting fellow IMGs as they work toward their own match. 💙 Every step taught me something, and I’m ready for the next one.”

Beyond medicine, Bishoy has explored eight US states and is always planning his next trip. ✈️ He loves nature and long walks 🌿, and you’ll often find him at the gym most days. He’s also a proud cat dad 🐱, and his cat is his toughest critic! He loves being around people and working as part of a team—and he’s the friend who always has the perfect meme ready 😂.

One application season, two important steps. Submitting your residency application does not automatically register you with NRMP.
