Why does every jackass now think they’re an “influencer,” & why is “influencing” anyone treated as some admirable calling? If these people had half a brain, they’d stop long enough to consider what the word actually implies. To influence is to push, sway, manipulate, or steer; to inspire is to awaken something better in another person. Anyone who wants to do something worth people’s time should want to inspire, not influence.
