@ChrisScribs @GameAudioRT Sometimes compression enhance some unwanted freq’s, so in that case I add another surgical eq on top of everything. Usually VO hits -20dBFS and that’s it.

But, as you can see, in the most cases I end up doing some additional manual volume automation as well. :D

@ChrisScribs @GameAudioRT and to get more upfront vocal sound. This way I’m not pushing one compressor too hard and not killing absolutely all transients - don’t like squished vocals.
If needed, I add de-esser (or two - with gentle setup) and maybe an extra gentle multiband compressor.
