we kept writing about how many contracts on this chain call themselves GameStop

then 48 started calling themselves us, eleven with addresses ground to end in our
last four characters

so we built the thing instead of writing about it again

paste any name, get every contract answering to it, ranked by movement rather
than by holders, because holders can be airdropped and transfers cost gas

first three queries told us something we did not know

before posting this we ran our own audit against our own collection

it failed our own promise

we said the art would live inside the contract with no owner and no setter, and the contract we actually deployed has an owner and carries setBaseURI, so the art here can be repointed by one address, exactly like the 848 of 955 collections we spent this project counting

our token page now prints that instead of the promise, with the owner address on it

what it is not is a proxy, and that part we did get right, all three of the repointed collections this whole site is built on are 45 byte clones delegating to somebody elses logic, ours is a whole contract at its own address that cannot be swapped

every trait on these is read out of the pixels instead of typed in

which ground colour, how heavy the ink is, which one has the visor

if a file does not contain what its label claims, the build fails and nothing ships

that is an absurd amount of work for a set this small

it is also the entire point of the project

starting today the team is building the mint for holders

this is the part where we have to do the thing we have spent the whole project measuring

so the collection ships in the one shape on this chain that cannot be repointed

art stored inline in the contract, ownership renounced, and no setter compiled in anywhere

for scale, 848 of the 955 collections we probed here carry a function that can move their art, and 780 of those were proven live by simulating the call from the address that owns them

ours will not have one to simulate

our own contract goes through our own audit with no exemption written for it, and if it ever grades below that, the site says so on the front page instead of quietly passing itself
