1/🔍Can we reach generalizations using #metaanalysis? Just had my mind blown by this must-read paper by @BecksSpake et al. that made me rethink many papers of mine. @LauraEllenDee#Ecology@BandNir (https://t.co/6NvbMQlbWT)
(1/4) Why does nitrogen enrichment reduce species performance? Is it because of competitive exclusion or due to nitrogen-specific detrimental effects (e.g., toxicity, acidification)? @Oikos_Journal https://t.co/hjn5DymstA
JOB ALERT! Soil microbiome research.
We are recruiting computational and experimental postdocs and PhD students for an @ERC_Research funded project on the rhizosphere microbiome.

Please RT: exciting postdoc opportunity on a timely question: When are we expecting alternative stable states (catastrophic regime shifts once passing a tipping point)?
Our new paper @PNASNews is addressing a long-standing question in #ecology, #biodiversity sciences and #conservation biology:
How do multiple #species#coexist in fragmented landscapes?

The last day of @intecol2022, but definitely no decline in quality!
A great plenary in the morning by the esteemed Peter Chesson, followed by a remarkable presentation by @karo_daniel, and now looking forward to a plenary by Christian Körner soon. What a day!
Can't believe how fast time goes by @intecol2022. Tomorrow it's my turn to present my study! Join me in room 1 (floor -1) at 9:45 and hear about why high levels of soil resources cause biodiversity loss. See you there :)
Just heard a great talk from @KorellLotte, describing her fantastic experiment about the effects antagonists have on plant and how these effects interact with climate change. Very curious about this work and looking forward to the upcoming paper. Another gem @intecol2022!
