@Sabrestalkv2 The difference is Eichel asked for the surgery before the trade. The Sabres refused to let him get it because their team doctors said Eichel didnt need it. Eichel got hurt again because they didnt let him and the trade was made with the surgery in mind. Larkin just wanted out.

@tyleryaremchuk Based on what they said, he's been cleared of enough (and not suspended) so the trade can be finalized. Both teams put a hold on the trade because TO didnt want to assume the financial hit if Kawhi did get suspended.
