I don’t love the digital neck dodge effect or the fact that Greedo misses at point blank range. I think Greedo pointing a gun at Han was sufficient for Han to shoot him in self defense and that the re-edit is awkward. However, people saying that Han killed him in “cold blood” makes me sympathize with Lucas feeling the need to make it more obvious what his intention of the scene was.

George and Dave made a good team because Dave’s sentimentality allowed him to flesh out George’s characters and George’s ruthless desire to brutally kill them prevented them from overstaying their welcome.

If you remove George from the equation, you get 50 year old Ahsoka and 60 year old Bo Katan running around forever serving no narrative purpose.
