yunjin talks about the the process of pureflow pt.1, her interviews with the members & how her question of โhow can we get to know each other even better going forward?" was the starting point โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
โi'm nervous. our next album really tells our own story and it comes from our own experiences, so i felt like i should be involved from the very beginning. that's why i really wanted to join the song camp and tried to make the schedule work however i could.
it feels like everything just fell into place. it's really not easy for everything to line up like this, but somehow my time off overlapped with the last week of the song camp and my birthday happens to fall on the last day. that makes it feel even more special. i think it's really meaningful that i get to spend my birthday working on an album for le sserafim, which i love so much. it feels twice as meaningful. i can't imagine what we're gonna come up with. just gonna have fun with it.
so, here's how this album got started. i was having a meal with our producers and i asked, "how can we get to know each other even better going forward?" and i guess they liked that idea, so that's how it all started.
after that, i talked to each member individually about what was on their minds. it had been a while since i had a serious talk with each member. a lot of what we talked about was pretty unexpected. i realized, "oh, so this is what they've been thinking." there were also things we could finally talk about now that some time had passed, so i thought doing these interviews was definitely the right call.
i feel like talking to each member individually brought me closer to them and helped me understand what was on their minds. it also gave me a much clearer idea of how we should approach our next story, and we actually shared a lot more of the same feelings than i expected. but there were also things they felt that really surprised me. i guess you'll find out too, fearnot.โ
๐ถ: we just kind of wanted to embody
just being like really confident but not in like a really obnoxious, arrogant way but in a humble.. it's like this album
is kind of us saying "we're back. we didn't die"
yunjin explaining the essence of pureflow pt.1 & how le sserafim rose from the ashes ๐ฅน
-star. Sebenernya teume ini juga fandom pembullyy, sering bgt ngtain fandom orang tkg bullyy, skrg terbukti fandom mereka tkg ngatain, pdhl gk pernah ngusik idol mereka
yunjin asked the producer to keep the original length of โneed your companyโ to represent an unresolved story of a โvoice memoโ cutting off mid-thought. her mind.. she put so much thought into every detail ๐ฅน
โso i thought we could keep it at the length i originally sent you without adding a second verse, and just leave it at that length. i was thinking we'd just leave it like that. it was exactly two minutes and four seconds. and the way it just ends makes it feel like a voice memo that just cuts offโฆ leaving it unresolved. i wanted it to feel like it cuts off mid-thought, so that's why i ended it there.โ
