2008 banking crisis led to Bitcoin, an idea, a paper, while it couldn’t replace banking at the moment but it planted the seed.

It is 2023, banks are the same broken businesses that need constant saving from US government but this time we have full banking capability on #DeFi.

State Capitalism does not work. A top down capitalist system might allow to copy/reproduce other innovators quickly, e.g. quick rise of Chinese economy following Western tech, but it won’t support new innovation at the pace of a free society.

For the first time 🇺🇸 backstopped a stable coin failure (indirectly). This was due to Circle being well regulated.

Consumer DeFi has better chances to be built on well regulated stable tokens than algorithmic or other approaches.
