The Republican posts were nothing but pure fucking theater all the grandstanding, the tough talk videos, the performative outrage, every last bit of it scripted bullshit designed to distract and deceive.
And just like every single one of us already knew they would, those spineless assholes still packed up and went on recess anyway.
No action, no backbone, just another disappearing act while the country burns.
Complete fucking contempt for the American people they’re supposed to represent.
They treat us like marks in a con, not citizens.
Absolute scumbags. Fuck you!
A @WSJopinion piece this week referred to supporters of crypto regulation as "the crypto boys." But that's not who the crypto community is.
There are 67 million Americans who own crypto today. One-third are women. More are over 55 than under 25 years old. They're teachers, construction workers, veterans, nurses, parents, and small business owners.
The incumbent Democrat Senators who: (a) opposed the Clarity Act; and (b) are running for re-election THIS YEAR are:
Markey (Mass.)
Hickenlooper (Colorado)
Coons (Delaware)
Ossoff (Georgia)
Booker (NJ)
Lujan (NM)
Merkley (Oregon)
Reed (Rhode Island)
Warner (Virginia)
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for carrying the brutal weight of that cross and willingly taking my place on Calvary. You bore the suffering I deserved and paid the debt I could never repay. Your sacrifice is the greatest act of love the world has ever known. Forever I am grateful 😭✝️🙏
@getcloserhome@SenTomCotton They can all burn! I am not going to represent the Republican Party in the midterms when they've done nothing but ignore us. They can't pass the save act or The Clarity Act, I will sit home and so will many others
WHY is THIS COCKSUCKER blaming Democrats for NOT passing The Save Act when it's these 4 COCKSUCKING REPUBLICANS that are SIDING with Democrats & STOPPING it from being passed?
Lisa Murkowski
Susan Collins
Mitch McConnell
Thom Tillis
.@LeaderJohnThune@SenateGOP
When the Senate votes tomorrow or Friday on whether or not to leave DC for August recess,
I’ll widely publicize which Senators are with us & which are against us.
We have 2 years to prepare for primaries.
So @SenateGOP & @SenateDems want to use the failure to pass the Save America Act and Clarity Act as political capital for the mid terms. Blaming each other for the lack of progress in passing both bills.
They don't understand, both parties will held accountable for this lack of action by Congress. Crypto friendly PACs will fund election campaigns for pro-crypto candidates to replace them.
Voters want to see results, not finger pointing and name calling.
There is growing talk of a third party launching for future elections. They will do well if they just deliver 20% of what this Congress should be doing.
Not a high bar to reach at all.
Get Save America and Clarity Act passed before recess or get replaced yourselves, and end your political careers.
Your choice.

I believe we will get a vote on the Clarity Act before August recess and get people on the record after 11 months of negotiating with Democrats and adding 300+ pages to the bill at their request.
It's just time to get people on the record.
@Cointelegraph Look at the market, Clarity Act isn't passing.
The market has already priced it in.
Crypto prices are heading in the wrong direction for there to be any hope of Clarity Act passing.
