Hi, I am not happy with the way this has been handled. Why should I be paying double when you don't how to handle your payment communications
Ipaid through UPI and the driver partner forced to pay up again to him.

What optiin someone has if driver partner argues, debates and doesn't understands the financial accounting language of Uber app. He didn't see my payment so forced to pay again. I couldn't leave and you dont give direct call option. Atleast most ppl are not aware.

Uber Support responses were delayed by 9–10 hours (late night) and did not confirm that the driver was barred from further contact.

I reiterate: I am not seeking a refund; my concern is safety.

@UberFacts @Uber_India @UberSoc Subsequently, he called from my colleague’s phone and demanded an additional ₹500 in cash, refusing to proceed/release until paid—this was during heavy rains, and my colleague is pregnant. I paid under duress to ensure her safety.
