LCBO private warehouse forces many local companies out of business. Red tape makes imported wine cost prohibitive & difficult for importers to compete & grow. DHL double dips in imported Ontario alcohol sales as the LCBO's mandatory carrier to pick up/warehouse goods @ColinDMello
Why is Ontario’s alcohol distribution
network being monopolized by a

@TomPark1n Lcbo and province generate taxes on all liquor sales at every point of sale (restaurants, grocery, convenience and private), not just whats sold in retail. Lion share of profits are in wholesale, look at the pricing examples on their site https://t.co/9jOU4jknru
@brianlilley@fordnation@JayJGoldberg Also, allow local producers and importers (who have non-lcbo retail listed products) sell directly to grocery stores
@davidclement Yes, increasing the number of re-sellers/points of sale = more taxes generated and more jobs created. Allow local producers and importers (selling non-lcbo listed products) to sell direct to all re-sellers (grocery and convenience) as they do with bars and restaurants.
