One thing I absolute despise in many famous animes is the whole trope of "damsel in distress" pandering to simps and western sentimentalities

Now Bleach, its barely abt the role of death gods

most of the show is focused on civil wars and coup attempts on soul society's ruling class

theres barely this focus on death as it had in first eps

One thing I have noticed from the anime BIG 3 is how superficial the themes or "occupation" are

Naruto is barely abt actual Ninjas,
Bleach is barely about actual Death-gods (shinigamis)
and One Piece is barely abt actual pirates

at least as we know it.

The closest thing to actual ninjas in Narutoverse is the Anbus

The closest thing to actual pirates in One Piece is Blackbeard,
and definitely not Luffy (who always saves some nice kingdom somehow)

They started to focus on him, rather the systemic technocratic civilization; by making him the mastermind behind all of it

Doing this, it failed at doing what Huxley's BRAVE NEW WORLD (it's source of inspiration) conveyed better;
a true clash of civilization and human spirit
