Pray with me
July 12, 2026
Father in Heaven,
You are the God of truth, and there is no darkness, deception, or shadow in You. Your Word declares, “You desire truth in the inward being” (Psalm 51:6). Bring into the light everything that has been concealed. Expose corruption, injustice, deception, greed, and wickedness wherever they are found. Tear away every mask that keeps people from seeing the truth. Let what is hidden be revealed, not for vengeance alone, but so that righteousness may flourish and hearts may turn back to You.
Awaken Your church to holiness. Purify Your people before we point to the sins of others. Give us humility instead of self-righteousness, courage instead of compromise, and faithfulness instead of fear. May we be salt and light in a dark world, proclaiming the gospel with both conviction and compassion.
Father, send spiritual awakening across our land. Let families be restored, prodigals return home, churches burn with holy passion, and communities be transformed by the power of Your Spirit. Raise up leaders who fear You, love justice, and walk in integrity. Turn the hearts of this nation from rebellion to repentance, from confusion to truth, and from death to life.
We confess that our hope is not in governments, institutions, or human strength. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. May every revelation of truth lead us not to despair, but to the foot of the cross, where mercy triumphs over judgment and sinners find forgiveness.
Do what only You can do, Lord. Shine the light of Your truth into every heart, every home, every church, and every corner of our nation, until we return to You with all our heart.
“For the Lord is our Judge; the Lord is our Lawgiver; the Lord is our King; He will save us.” (Isaiah 33:22)
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray,
Amen.
@towncriermg We live west of Ft Worth (outside Azle) and can contribute to luggage cost. Tuesday doesn’t work for us, otherwise we’d help with transportation from DFW…but we could contribute to an Uber . We can Zelle. DM
Of everything that happened during my year at DOGE...
This is what I’ll remember most.
The first time I visited the Retirements Mine, I didn’t know what to expect.
Some of the folks there had spent their entire careers inside that mountain. They were understandably cautious about me and the project at first, but they graciously taught me how everything worked.
As I learned from them, I started building little tools to make their jobs easier. At first it was small: a button that saved hours of repetitive data entry. Before long, it became entire digital systems that helped them review retirement cases faster.
Looking back, I’m grateful to say we built an incredible partnership.
It wasn’t just the folks in the Mine, either. Over the past year, I had the privilege of working alongside retirement executives, engineers, and countless career employees. Every one of them played a role in bringing this effort to life.
And then, somewhere along the way, visiting the Mine stopped feeling like a work trip.
This might sound ridiculous to say, but over time it started to feel more like coming over for Thanksgiving. Except instead of fixing the family printer, it was figuring out how we could get all this paper onto computers.
What struck me most came during these last few months.
On my more recent trips, I’d set up shop in a conference room, and people would stop by throughout the day just to chat and pitch ideas. One adjudicator (let me know if I can tag you 😉) even had the day off, heard I was in the Mine, and drove all the way in anyway because she wanted to share an idea.
And they weren’t asking whether AI was coming.
They were pitching ideas for what we should build next.
This was a team that had spent decades working with paper. Now here they were, brainstorming how technology and AI could make their work even better.
That’s when I realized this effort became real.
It wasn't just because we'd gone digital. It was because the people closest to the work were excited to help shape what came next.
That’s the kind of thing you can’t fake.
@SusieWiles Take heart, Susie. I was 29 with a 17 month old first child when I had breast cancer…I’m pushing 76 now and a grandma. Faith in Jesus held me thru it. 🙏
Two parents. Same income. Same kid's age.
One opens a Trump Account before April 15.
One assumes it's only for newborns.
By retirement:
One has $2.7M.
One has $0.
Most parents don't know this account was built for kids already born.

@RealJamesWoods This whole “debate” is asinine and infuriating. If my dad, before his 18th birthday could join the navy, serve during WWII, people who want to vote can make the effort to find their birth certificate, get a photo ID, or whatever it takes. In comparison, it’s a small effort.
