@FreddyLA7 Round Top, Texas has a population of only 90 but twice a year tens of thousands of people descend on the little town for some of the largest antique shows in America. If you happen to be near it on a Saturday it’s worth the stop. Also has one of the best cafes @RoyersCafe
@JadeWarshaw@JadeWarshaw I picked this up today and by page 4 was crying like a baby. You warned us it would be emotional but I thought I’d get into the middle of the book first. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!! Can’t wait to finish this one.
@BethMooreLPM Gratitude list…
1. Coolish (for south Texas) summer evenings
2. Family time
3. The capability to care for our home (haven’t always had that)
4. A husband who can, and will, fix anything
5. A simple life
@BethMooreLPM Yes ma’am. Speaking of fullness of life, Our 3 year old grandson went to a corner of the house today & we heard him praying for all his people then asked Jesus into his heart. Then came over to the grown ups & explained how Jesus died but now lives in heaven with His Father. 🥰
When the ground gives way beneath your feet and you feel like you’re free falling into an inescapable abyss, Jesus is there. You cannot go where he cannot reach. Cry out. He will catch you.
@BethMooreLPM Maybe it’s the secret to properly seasoning a cast iron skillet that one day you will hand down to your daughters if you can crack into the drawer.
@goodschooling@BethMooreLPM Same at my school. We were all silent until the bell rang then, as we changed classes, I remember every single student talking about what just happened. The noise was deafening.
@BethMooreLPM@BethMooreLPM pretty sure my husband wants to hang with yours now and discuss the finer points of guac vs avocado toast and the biscuits and gravy goodness at Ci Cis. 💕
