🔴#LDO_CS La Forza Aerea del Perù (Fuerza Aérea del Perú - FAP) ha ordinato un ulteriore velivolo multiruolo da trasporto #C27J #Spartan, nell’ambito del programma di rafforzamento delle sue capacità di mobilità aerea e tenendo conto della complessità della posizione geografica, del terreno e della necessità di raggiungere aree remote. Il contratto porta a cinque il numero complessivo di C-27J acquisiti dal Perù, con consegna al Grupo 8 della #FAP prevista nel 2027. Il programma contempla diversi vantaggi di offset, tra i quali la localizzazione di capacità di supporto, generando significativi ritorni sull’investimento. Quest’ultimo ordine rappresenta inoltre un importante traguardo per il programma, portando a 100 il numero totale di velivoli ordinati da 21 operatori nel mondo. The contract brings the total number of C-27Js acquired by Peru to five, with delivery to #FAP’s Grupo 8 expected in 2027. The programme has a number of offset benefits, such as localised support capabilities, generating a valuable return on the investment. Three days of insight, collaboration and innovation have come to an end. The Aerial Fire Fighting Conference & Exhibition 2026, which took place in Rome, Italy, once again highlighted the importance of working together to address increasingly complex scenarios. #Leonardo was pleased to contribute, engaging with partners, institutions and industry stakeholders while showcasing its evolving portfolio of aerial #firefighting solutions, including the #C27JFire Fighter.

Looking ahead, a guiding principle is that advanced technology is one of our strongest allies in protecting our planet. This message was also at the core of the remarks delivered by Tommaso Pani, #LeonardoAeronautics’ Senior Vice President Marketing & Sales, during the Aerial Fire Fighting Gala Dinner held last night at Palazzo Brancaccio. As he emphasised, wildfires are among the most critical global threats to ecosystems and communities. In this context, Leonardo acts as a partner in protection—leveraging technology to improve speed, precision and operational effectiveness, while driving #innovationin support of resilience and #sustainability. The future of firefighting will be shaped by the synergy between human expertise and advanced technologies. #Leonardo’s #C27J #FireFighter integrates the Roll-On/Roll-Off second generation Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (#MAFFS II), enabling rapid conversion into a mission-ready firefighting aircraft in just 90 minutes. Equipped with a 7,500‑liter tank—compatible with both water and retardant—the system supports a high operational tempo, with ground refill times as low as 8 minutes and pressurisation cycles of around 5 minutes. Mission effectiveness is further enhanced through high‑precision, controlled drop performance, including:

✅ Up to 2 volume drops per sortie;
✅ Adjustable Ground Pattern Coverage levels up to GPC 8 (US Gallons Per 100 Square Feet);
✅ Release speeds of 125–130 knots at 150–200 ft;
✅ Selectable load splits for tailored effects.

These capabilities ensure accurate and consistent retardant distribution, maximising impact across varying fire intensities, terrain profiles and mission demands. With a deployment range of up to 2,100 NM and a 300 NM mission radius at full load, the C‑27J Fire Fighter delivers rapid reach, sustained operational endurance and flexibility. #AFFGlobal2026
