I am a cab driver and the worst happened yesterday to me.

I got a trip request, a lady from mirema syndicate said she was going to kitengela.

She said her phone was off and yes I didn't see any red flags.

I started the trip and she said she was going to pick something then return, so it was a sort of a round trip.
Little did I know that it was a trap.

The moment we reached her destination I don't know what happened I lost my consciousness immediately and it was around 11 pm.

Luckily I woke up safe where I had parked the vehicle but all valuables that I had were gone.

I was feeling dizzy more than a drunkard but I said to my self let me try and get home.
It was the day of the devil, I caused an accident, luckily I wasn't hurt.

Plot twist is that, one of my phone's has the feature that, when you try to unlock it, it takes a selfie.

She got away with my Samsung A17 and iphone 14pro max.

There was a time when Safaricom would send everyone birthday wishes and even that 1GB birthday gift.

A time when calling 100 meant getting help almost immediately.

A time when data bundles actually felt worth it.

Now birthdays pass like any other day for many.

Maybe they seem like small things, but those little customer-first touches are part of what made Bob Collymore’s era stand out.

I know many will disagree with me on this, but hear me out.

Safaricom under Bob Collymore felt different.

It felt simpler, more innovative, and more customer-focused.

When Bob was in charge, many Kenyans felt proud of what Safaricom was becoming.

But ever since he passed, something seems to have shifted.

The decisions feel less connected to customers, and products like OneApp only deepen that feeling.

Maybe I’m wrong.

But I can’t be the only one who feels Safaricom lost part of its soul after Bob.

Mr. President, @WilliamsRuto it is alarming that EPRA @EPRA_KE appears to be playing games in cohort with a cabal inside the OMC, even as we have more than enough fuel coming into the country.
As a member of the Energy Committee, I can authoritatively state that Kenya’s monthly requirement for PMS is only about 180,000 metric tonnes. Yet the Government‑to‑Government (G2G) arrangement is today offloading 36 MT, with an additional 180 MT expected within the next two weeks via the vessels Valory Roma, MT Banias, and MT Sinthia. These cargoes were loaded in Europe and the United States at approximately USD 84 per metric tonne, which should translate into cheaper, not more expensive, fuel for Kenyan consumers.
Given this level of supply far above demand, the continued upward revision of pump prices suggests systemic manipulation rather than genuine cost‑pass‑through. The public deserves a clear explanation of why prices are rising when stocks are more than adequate and the landed cost of fuel remains relatively low.
