There’s is no better way to start the day than to hit the iron hard, break a sweat on cardio, and have it all done before the average man has even opened his eyes. 👊👊👊
Getting up at 3am and leaving the house to be productive makes you feel like you own the world. NO ONE else is out there at that hour. The world is yours. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Weight training complete, cardio done, it’s 5:10am, time to get the day started 👊👊👊
Let’s GO.
@GrantCardone I could not possibly agree more with this 👏👏👏
Man was meant to leave the cave, catch something, and drag it home to feed the family.
Therein lies a deep sense of fulfillment 👊👊👊
One step closer to an utterly zombified population.
If “The Breakfast Club was released today, it would just be five kids staring at their phones with earbuds in.
I once had a literature professor who referred to humanity as “Man the storyteller.”
I’m old enough that I was in college BEFORE cell phones were ubiquitous.
If that professor was alive today, I believe that he would surmise that Man the Storyteller has become “Man the Walking Dead.”
@RobertGreene Sheesh. That was a four line post and it was CRUSHINGLY important for most people in the developed world today!
Say it louder so I'll never forget it!
Jimmy, you know the age old adage: "If you seek to offend no one, then say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing."
The one thing that haters all have in common is that they are all doing worse than the person at whom they sling arrows.
We all watched you pay off your Mom's house and take care of friends, family, and strangers for years now!
You've crushed it, brother! Don't take any guff from these haters! let it roll right off your back like you can't even hear them!
@Cobratate They do. ...for those that are willing to ACT upon them. God offers us the opportunity to take massive inspired action; but it is up to each of us to actually TAKE the opportunity by taking the ACTION.
THIS. I told my dad I was depressed one time when I was a young teenager. He said "I have a cure for that. Go cut my grass."
Guess who has never been depressed again since?
I'm not being facetious, either. My dad knew that physical activity with a goal is THE cure for bullshit depression ailments. I ended up on the basketball team, on the wrestling team, played hockey in a rec league, and that lawn was always mowed!
🤣🤣🤣
There was a point at which I was on my own and couldn't afford a gym membership, so I got a job at the gym instead. I have stayed physically active my entire life, and now I am north of 40, I feel fantastic, I have never been fat, and never again felt "depressed."
So, the cure is simple:
Get to WORK.
Go mow the fucking grass.
@jointrw_ I tell my family regularly, “Daddy works so that you and Mommy can chase your true dreams.”
My happiness comes as a result of seeing THEM happy, safe, and content.
If I sought my own happiness as the main quest, it would all crumble.
