I'll tell you some hard truths of the state of crypto that influencers dont

- no single protocol can facilitate mass or otherwise adoption currently

- vast majority of "partnerships" & "collaborations" with web2 is fugazi marketed to appear substantial and ultimately fails

- The vast majority of quoted on chain metrics are massively inflated for multiple reasons

- TPS ≠ scalability

- Even if a protocol has the highest TPS in existence currently, it doesn't mean it has the easiest path towards scalability

- We dont have a comprehensive decentralization index, nor defined, measurable metrics that encompass all protocol architecture adequately

- TPS is not the most important metric. If a KOL is telling you that, ignore him. He is trying to sell you something

- After 2018, most created L1s are oriented towards value extraction for insiders. Tokenomics and trade-offs make that clear

- you can masturbatorily philosophize meme coins all you want. They are valueless games of hot potato without the potato. A memecoin is not valuable just because a dumber version of you paid you for it

- Most analytics platforms just regurgitate curated data that they receive money for

- Crypto media are paid shills predominantly. They sometimes report on events

- You are the retail

- VCs that have played the game longer than you will get you rekt if you listen to them. They are salesmen. They want you to buy their bags

- Most of us have no idea what we are talking about. The vast majority doesn't understand the tech or the economics and game theory on a deep level
