Know your “why.”

There has to be something deeper driving you than talent, hype, rankings, or recognition. Those things fade. Your “why” is what keeps you disciplined when motivation is gone. On the hard days, when you’re tired, injured, overlooked, doubting yourself, or not seeing immediate results, your “why” is what keeps you showing up.

Whatever your reason is, hold onto it. Never forget why you started. That purpose has to be bigger than the temporary moments.

I was selected to participate in IESA Track and Field sectionals yesterday. I beat my PB in both hurdles where I placed 7th out of 23 and in Long Jump where I placed 7th out of 30. It was a great way to end my Track & Field Career. @IlLightning2030 @softball_il
