Dear @sajidjavid, it's now December so can you confirm your positive announcement has been implemented, meaning anyone who got their COVID jabs in the EU (or elsewhere) won't be pinged by Track & Trace if the vaccine is on the @WHO Emergency Use Listing (EUL)?

Soooo apparently someone on my plane tested positive for Covid, but thankfully because I'm fully vaccinated with OXFORD ASTRA ZENECA I'm exempted from self-isolation

@AntonSpisak A number of UK friends who live in the EU went back to UK to visit family and had to isolate for 10 days because of a positive case on their Eurostar train - despite the fact they are fully vaxxed with identical vaccines to UK. It is blatant discrimination.

I've discovered that the UK doesn't accept EU Covid vaccine as equivalent for the purposes of anything other than inbound travel. If you're told to self-isolate and are exempted because of full vaccination, this doesn't apply if you were vaccinated in the EU. It's madness.

From December anyone fully vaccinated with a WHO EUL vaccine will not need to self-isolate if identified as a close contact while in England.

Huge help for British nationals vaccinated abroad who want to come back and visit friends and family in England.

@sajidjavid Still waiting for official guidance to change regarding self isolation if contacted by test and trace when vaccinated in another country other than the UK. You said this would be December….please sort it out!
