Sindh’s fate will never be decided by those who refuse to accept Sindh as their motherland, nor by those who cannot even conceive of Sindh as a nation.
Sindh is far beyond mere words - it is our identity, history, and homeland. Protecting Sindh is our national responsibility 🙏🏼

Here we go again: yet another scandal, this time a daylight robbery, so soon after the PIMS tragedy, Sugar Mafia, HEC outrage on Afghan students, another Ponzi Scheme has come to light, actually, the ‘Mother of All Scams’ costing BILLIONS of DOLLARS: all these reflecting an Unholy Alliance, in fact, the TERRIBLE TROIKA of Politicians, Bureaucrats & Vested Interests/Lobbies! System failure is in Islamabad: failed policies, flawed mindsets! The answer lies NOT in blaming provinces or creating new provinces, but Reversing Wrongs where these emanate from: ISLAMABAD! At the very least, LIST of recipients of these $ 5.6 billion freebies to friends MUST be made Public!
5000 years ago, Harappan women were racing. Not cheering from sidelines. Racing. Feet pounding packed-earth tracks in the Indus cities, where speed and skill mattered more than gender. The sport we assumed was always male? It never was.

Pakistan’s mainstream media has a long history of bias against Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whenever it discusses issues such as new provinces or water disputes, it often depends on Islamabad and Lahore-based activists and journalists to lecture audiences on matters about which they have limited understanding of the realities on the ground in these three provinces.
Salute to brave sisters of #SindhyaniTahreek
Sindh is not merely a geographical territory it is a shared history, culture, language & collective heritage built over centuries. Any attempt to divide Sindh will b resistd through the unity, struggle & collective will of its people.
The “new provinces” debate increasingly looks like a manufactured distraction, not a serious constitutional proposal.
Who is this unnamed “influential figure” supposedly deciding Pakistan’s constitutional future?
If such a person exists and holds legitimate authority, name them.
Constitutional change is not made through whispers from unnamed power brokers, media campaigns, or groups with little electoral mandate.
Article 239 is clear: creating a new province requires a constitutional amendment passed by a two-thirds majority in both the National Assembly and the Senate. If provincial boundaries are redrawn, the affected Provincial Assembly must also approve it by a two-thirds majority.
So why is speculative chatter being treated as a done deal?
Pakistan’s real crisis is not the number of provinces.
It is weak constitutional governance, disputed representation, ineffective local governments and the erosion of the people’s sovereignty.
Redrawing lines on a map will not fix a broken system. Without constitutional governance, it will only multiply dysfunction.
Fix governance.
Strengthen democracy.
Build effective local governments.
Restore the sovereignty of the people.
Pakistan’s crisis is not geography. It is governance.

I first visited this historic canopy of Bula Khan in Manghopir, Karachi, in 2009. Even then, it showed signs of neglect. Today, it is in shambles. Built in second quarter of 18th century, it commemorates Bula Khan, after whom Thano Bula Khan is named.
