ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) is producing insect-based foods in Illinois. The industry is exploding — projected to hit $4.6 BILLION in sales and 1.4 MILLION TONS of insect protein by 2027.

Here’s the dirty secret they don’t want you to see:
- Crickets are being hyped as “60% protein” — but independent testing shows only ~13%.
- Cleveland Clinic warns 30% of cricket farms carry parasites that transmit disease to humans.
- The chitin (exoskeleton) they call “digestible fiber”? NIH admits they don’t even know how the human body processes it.

This isn’t about “saving the planet.”
This is a hidden agenda to rewrite what we eat — sneaking it into your food supply without a single vote or label.

Demand full transparency.
Boycott anything that touches this.
Your plate, your choice.

Somewhere this week a church replaced the pulpit with a movie screen.

Not for a funeral. Not for a missionary update. For a sermon series themed around Hollywood films.

They call it "At the Movies."

It's spreading through non-denominational churches like fire through dry brush. And most people sitting in those pews have no idea what they're watching die.

Here's what's dying. The biblical purpose of the gathered church.

The New Testament shows the church assembling to worship God, preach His Word, observe the ordinances, pray, and equip the saints. None of that requires a projector and a Rotten Tomatoes score.

But the church industrial complex has a different theology. It believes the church has to compete with Hollywood to keep people's attention. So pastors become producers. Services become experiences. And the Word of God gets cut down to a clip between scenes.

The apostles never borrowed from Rome's entertainment to grow the church. They preached Christ crucified. They trusted the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God instead of movie clips, themed stages, and pop culture references stitched into a 25 minute talk.

Paul told Timothy to preach the word. Be instant in season, out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. That's 2 Timothy 4:2.

He didn't say make it fun or relatable. He said preach.

Yes, we should reach unbelievers. Nobody is arguing against that. But making church feel more like the world has never converted a single soul. The thing that converts is the uncompromised truth of God's Word. Something the world can't manufacture on its own.

When entertainment replaces exposition and attraction replaces discipleship, the church stops shaping the culture. It starts reflecting it. And it calls the compromise progress.

And before someone pulls the parable card. Jesus spoke in parables, yes. But Hollywood is not Jesus. His parables were not borrowed from the culture's entertainment. They were original teachings that revealed truth to those with ears to hear while concealing it from those with hardened hearts. Matthew 13:10-17.

He didn't need a clip from a Roman comedy to make a point about the Kingdom. His words cast out demons and calmed storms and raised the dead.

Your movie night can't do that.

The church was never meant to mirror the culture. It was meant to confront it. And every Christ-follower sitting in a sanctuary watching film clips instead of hearing the Word preached should be asking one question.

I will write only some of this out because it’s very important, however you should listen to it so you can hear the passion:

“The culture shift comes from what children learn at school and online. Ask any young person what history they learned at school, and they’ll tell you, Hitler. Ask them what else? Slavery. Ask them what else? American civil rights.

In fact, what little they know of history will be all about Black and brown people fighting for equality against the white man, women fighting men for the vote, gay and trans people fighting for various rights. Our young people have been taught that history is simply one long story about various groups struggling under the oppressive dead white man.

— History is taught through an oppressor lens. The triangular slave trade, white men held the power. What about Britain ending the slave trade? More than a quick mention, if at all? Mm, no.

What of the Arab slave trade that lasted 3 times as long as the triangular slave trade? Mm, no.

Okay, so GCSE history in Britain is often taught as migration through time, so the idea that Britain has always been a land of immigrants is embedded in our children’s heads. Most schools would prefer to concentrate learning about the tiny number of Black people who existed in Tudor England over a thorough analysis of England’s break from Rome.

— Not to mention weeks on King Mansa Musa of Mali because he was a Black Muslim. His bearing on British institutions, laws, and faith is nonexistent. And the fact that he is said to have been the richest man in history, thanks in part to his massive slave-owning society, is a detail somehow that teachers rarely ever teach.

But it isn’t just our schools. It’s our general culture too. Take your kids to a museum or an art gallery in any Western country, and you’ll find the same narrative.

As an example, when learning about aviation in London’s Science Museum and the extraordinary feat that is man making massive machines move in the sky, a write-up on the wall explains that women and Black people were historically barred from aviation schools and the military. Similarly, James Watt, the man who invented the steam engine and is considered the founder of the Industrial Revolution, has a write-up on the wall explaining that his early career involved slave trafficking, with a bonus analysis of the whole of Britain’s complicity in the slave trade.

They flatten the entire human story and all of its complexities into the narrative of oppressor and oppressed, leaving young people unable to see the world in any other terms.”

Back in April and May it appeared we'd have a healthy population of insects and pollinators. Seems some "spraying" may have been done as it wasn't really a drop-off in the population as much as it was a collapse. No bees, butterflies, ladybugs, crickets, spiders etc. 🤬
