I’ve been laughing so much at this today! #JACKIEWEAVER might be my new fave person of 2021 🤣 this is as British as you can get and is comedy gold. And it’s all real! 🤣🙈
1."@GavinWilliamson has provoked anger among head teachers by suggesting that parents should report schools to Ofsted if they felt that the online learning provision was not good enough."
Not just amongst headteachers, i am fuming.
2.Our teachers have literally risked their lives to keep our children safe with little resources, money or support from this government. They have been dragging through the media, suffered abuse and been made out to be lazy....
4.The government can not be allowed to deflect their failings to our schools and teachers... We stand with you....
I urgh everyone.... Praise your school and teachers to ofsted and let's show our government we stand with education........... Let's flip the narrative.
In protest of Theresa Villiers voting against the extension of funding for free school meals over October and December holidays, we invite you/your children to decorate a paper plate to express how you feel and post it to her. Please send us photos of your designs

More support for Barnet @MesutOzil1088. Shame our council is not doing more to make sure EVERY child is fed over half term and beyond. #ENDCHILDFOODPOVERTY#MarcusRashford
Last night dozen's joined us at an emergency meeting led by @BarnetStop, @BarnetNEU and the people of Barnet to discuss campaign ideas to ensure children are fed during the holidays.

In reaction to the recent Parliamentary vote to not extend free school meals over the holidays on 21st October, we feel as a community it is important to get together and discuss what this means for Barnet and what we do going forward.
"The Council is going beyond those children just in receipt of free school meals, recognising that Covid-19 has made affording food for many families more difficult. The Council hopes this will help up to 6,800 families, with 13,000 children."
No Camden child will go hungry this half-term.
Next week we will provide supermarket vouchers to Camden families who can least afford to buy food.

One of our neighbour boroughs who have a similar number of children. They estimate it will cost 150k.... Barnet are offering 50k
There are approximately 9000 families on free school meals that we know of in the borough. That works out as about £5.50....... Not that we expect more from Barnet Council...... 9000 at the moment I will add in this uncertain time. Come on you can do better.
@BarnetCouncil & @Young_Barnet have set up a £50,000 fund to support #holidayhunger. Our Essential Supplies Hub is also fully stocked to meet extra demand from foodbanks.
