Reviewing and addressing these high costs is a necessary step in attracting and retaining international scientific talent.
The cost of visas for scientists at our research institutes is set to rise by 44% in a year. This will discourage scientists from coming to work in the UK and take vital funds away from our life-saving research. We’re calling on the new government to make its #First100Days a #TurningPointForCancer, including by reviewing visa fees for scientists.
