🇺🇸🇫🇷 “I just had Texas barbecue for the first time… better than any moment in my life.”
The French have a long history of contempt for American cuisine, calling it “la malbouffe” (foul food).
But this particular Frenchman makes no bones about his America-maxxing.
“I’d give my left croissant for a Texas brisket.” 😂

Q: How are job postings for software engineers rising rapidly despite AI agents automating coding?
A: Because there’s far more code to manage than ever before. We’re already seeing a 14x YoY increase in GitHub commits, and it’s accelerating.
AI has dramatically lowered the cost of writing code, so it’s now being used across far more businesses, applications, and use cases.
We’re at the beginning of a massive productivity boom driven by the proliferation of bespoke software throughout the entire economy.
Coding has been AI’s breakout use case this year. The fact that it’s increased demand for software engineers — rather than decreased it — should call into question the entire “AI will cause mass job loss” narrative.
@pmarca@eladgil To pretend that the Bay Area still has the gravitas that it once did and that AI is following suit with the old norms is ridiculous. AI genius is decentralized. Marc knows better.
This might be the most powerful demonstration of masculinity at the Olympics.
Strength, mission, and a powerful brotherhood that serves one another while leaving no one behind.
The red pill bros can’t even comprehend this level of manliness.
@TheEconomist The Economist is a bullshit media outlet. They chose to add Elon’s name to the list for attention when there are only 16 emails from Elon to Epstein but failed to mention Reid Hoffman who has over 1.7k If you have a subscription to this shit-show I highly recommend canceling.
@DjokerNole Honstely, when I first watched you play I did not like you, but over the years I’ve gotten to know more of you by way of the way you treat other players, the fans and the sport. I’ve got nothing but the upmost respect for you. Wishing you the absolute best!
Venezuela used to be much wealthier than Poland, which was suffering under socialism. Then Poland implemented free-market and capitalist principles and enjoyed an economic boom.
Venezuela chose socialism, which brought poverty and misery to its people.
That’s the difference.
@Jason@bariweiss@60Minutes I do believe that an antagonist is a great asset when striving for the truth but this guy was silent when 60 minutes was fawning over Biden but now thinks it’s time to speak out. I’m done with the All-in-podcast.
“Milton Friedman observed that inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon. But affordability—the prices of particular things—can be very much a local phenomenon.”
Case in point, California has the worst affordability crisis in America - entirely created by our state politicians and their ineffectiveness.
A case in a few pictures…
