@David_McMahon75 You guys are doing your best to come up with scenarios that tax people at 47% and higher that just don't play out. And the CGT wasn't doubled. You were getting a 50% discount. Discounts aren't permanent. Just like when Black Friday finishes and prices go back up.

@David_McMahon75 It's common sense. The vast majority of young people aren't investing in shares (unless its passively through super) because they aren't in the top 15% of income earners where most of the CGT paying population resides. If they're investing in shares they're unusual.
