@KanaiKealii@ProfitsTaken Yea this 👍🏻. PT’s analysis helps with entry, strategy, when to stay invested and when to cut and run. His analysis calms the nerves in tough times with solid reasoning. PT and his team help cut thru the noise of market commentators. Highly recommend.
@Fidelity Still not working. I was on an old version, but updated to 4.7.0.15, powered down and still when i click on a midpoint price of any option in the chain, and select sell to open a call, it defaults to the regular stock ticket. I have to manually enter in the option details.
@Fidelity trader + desktop new bug. When I click on a midpoint price of an option chain and select sell to open, the order ticket opens as a buy order for the underlying shares. Please fix. Thank you!
@Fidelity trader + not great at setting OCO orders on options contracts. Any chance of improving that feature? Cutting and pasting the ticker works sometimes but it’s pretty “clunky”.
@omnipotenscap This is the way. Lately I’ve been setting OCO orders - one limit to close at 50% capture and the other at my stop loss. Totally removes emotion from the trade exit.
@Fidelity@rishi__sachdev I fought it - took some time to adjust but now I’m only using trader +. It is getting better and I’ve adapted to be pretty efficient on the platform. I don’t think any platform is perfect. I keep both on my desktop and shifted back and forth as I transitioned to it.
@ProfitsTaken@dl_orangerie It’s not like you can change anyone’s mind these days - and it’s exhausting if you try. Let’s wrap this Iran deal up and head back to ATH!
@alt_w_v_g Seriously, those home warranties are a total scam. I had AC unit issues and the guy came out and said he couldn’t fix it and then he tried to sell me a new unit. So I threw him out. I found a competent AC repair guy. Fixed it for 200 bucks.
@BoBbyPleWniaK Management is all part of the process. I roll before the underlying hits strike, unless it’s just a day or two after I opened. But this is a good problem because what you make on the underlying always exceeds what you may lose by closing the call.
@daviddunn177 He’s got to say it outside of an official congressional press briefing. He’s got immunity there and can say what he wants. Go on TV and say it during an interview and you’ll know if there’s anything there.
@Fidelity Figured something out…on the app you can use the positions screen and just search for “call” and it shows you all your open calls without the underlying. I think I can work with that.
