@donna_zimmerman@BreitbartNews CBS does't care how many people watch that time slot now. Byron Allen pays them for the rights to the slot. How he makes money is for him to worry about.
@iJordanMoore@BostonSportsHb 2023 : "Chris Sale should retire. For his sake. For the Red Sox' sake."
2026 : Breslow sucks for not getting a better return for Chris Sale.
Pick a lane and stick with it. Or, join the heap of hacks competing for clicks and likes.
@ItsPurpleTora@Lampontheapp@Dexerto Should diners be allowed to bring in their own burgers? Salads? It's not the cost to slice a cake - it's about allowing guests to bring in their own food instead of ordering off the restaurant's menu.
@BowtiedCappy That's your call, and your hard work is irrelevant. You could pack a lunch of a chicken sandwich, chips, and soda for $3 - which is what Boomers or Gen Xers would do. So buy your $10 lunch - just do not ever bitch about the affordability of anything after lighting $7 on fire.
@TaraSetmayer@Giants@JaxsonDart So...you've changed your opinion of somebody you've never met, entirely based upon his apparent disalignment with your politics. Is that correct?
@FertigNeverDies@TrailBum2@raven_brah All those calling Turkey & Cheese "prison food" have never had a peanut butter and butter Wonder Bread sandwich.
@chris_simoneau@IrishFireSox He missed all of June & July of that 2023 season. Came back in August, went 1-3 in his final 9 starts for the Red Sox, failing to get to the 5th inning in 4 of them.
@gov_fails That would be irresponsible. Find a nearby restaurant to make that dish for you, and have it delivered by UberEats. And definitely toss what you don't finish - DO NOT pack it for tomorrow's lunch like some goddamn hobo.
@liberalpuppy@emzanotti BTW - your graph is CPI for ALL food, not just groceries - which is too low to even chart on your graphic. But sure, groceries on a whole are up 3.2% since January 2025, including beef and processed crap. Don't buy those things if you're watching your wallet.
@liberalpuppy@emzanotti Cool chart. Have you been to a grocery store? I'm a private chef and shop in them every day. I have clients who insist on organic or specific brands - still my food costs per meal are less than they were 18 months ago.
We all make choices.
@liberalpuppy@emzanotti Beef and processed junk food - that's what's high at grocery stores right now. Chicken, pork, eggs, butter, produce, bread are all lower.
I bought store brands then, and still do. They're the cheaper option, and I have a budget.
@NickFondacaro The "uprising" in Kenosha that summer started when an armed black man was shot by police while in process of stealing a car and kidnapping the children of his rape victim.
The fallout from those two nights perpetuated a divide that will never be closed.
