being a TWD fan is suffering because whenever it breaks containment you have to deal with film twitter experts having the most repetitive takes on a show they stopped watching in 2012.
I just wish Marathon the extraction shooter never existed everything would be so much better.
Should’ve invested all that money in Destiny. Make it profitable it’s all you had…
I've seen people fighting for their basic human rights with less passion and conviction than you'll get from some guy who's mad nobody really likes their favorite slop franchise movie
halo 4 was heavily flawed but also the last time the series felt like it had any sort of direction. just needed to clean up the gameplay (i.e. remove all the CoD-inspired mechanics). halo 5, on top of being a bad game, threw all of 4's potential away.
Halo Infinite is exactly (more or less) what I wanted for Halo moving forward.
Personal opinions of course, but I’m always surprised by those who didn’t like Halo 4 and 5, who also didn’t like Infinite.
Halo Infinite was the antithesis of 4 and 5. A direct response to the fan base that they were moving back in the direction of those early Bungie titles we loved so much.
Aside from the issues with content not being ready at launch, Halo Infinite is what I (and I thought many others) had been asking for all along.
there is no such thing as game design anymore people just expect games to accommodate every possible option for every kind of player and call it "quality of life"
I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 this way for a long time, and it's an absolute blast.
Larian, I genuinely love you and your games. But I think it's time to seriously reconsider what players have been asking for. The popularity of the WASD movement and Native Camera Tweaks mods shows that there's a real demand for this style of gameplay. They've even attracted people who normally wouldn't play a CRPG.
During the recent Divinity AMA, you said these features won't be in the game. As someone who truly admires and respects your work, I sincerely hope you'll reconsider that decision.
Making these features optional, disabled by default but available for anyone who wants them doesn't seem like an unreasonable request. It would let players enjoy the game the way they prefer without changing the experience for those who like the classic controls.
Please, Larian, listen to your players. We love your games, and many of us genuinely believe these features would make them even better.
