@DUPRpb This seems to be an explicit admission of what most people I talk to already say — DUPR scores are garbage data, but if you give them more money they’ll promise to consider making the scores less garbage-y. Pickleball needs/deserves a better rating system.
@PreSonus Just got one. Am I correct that the only Knowledge base article for how to set this up with Cubase is from 2017? Because that one is not getting the job done.
@AWeissmann_ Wow.
"The court’s conclusion that accomplishing the appointment in a single step, rather than two separate steps, “threaten[s] the structural liberty inherent in the separation of powers,” Dkt. 672 at 3, finds no support in text, context, history, or common sense."
@ARFrederiksen I say “failure” knowing that it’s really only failure to reach this one reader. No writing connects with everyone. But that’s how I frame it for myself— the author is creating the experience for the reader. And if the reader does not respond well, it’s never the reader’s fault.
@ARFrederiksen I agree — it can be both. I’m just saying for the reader, there is no, “You should have thought this was well done, you just misunderstood what the author was doing.” There is only, “You recognized the failure, but didn’t correctly guess what the author had been attempting.” IMO
@lucasjk616 My policy is that I consider each piece of feedback, decide if I think that it would make my work better, and then make changes. If they're contradictory, I consider both and see which resonates with me. One thing to never ignore: "I don't understand what/why is going on."
@HaleyAldrich7 100% fine. You being comfortable is the first priority. You don’t even have to explain. If the potential date has trouble understanding or accepting that, you’ll save a lot of trouble weeding him out at the start.
@bp22@Be2the9s I go with this: If your policy is to keep the door, you have to choose right first (1/3). If your policy is to switch, you have to choose the wrong door first (2/3).
@rachelclif You have no moral imperative to stay in ANY relationship, why would this be different? You can leave for any reason. The bigger question is whether it is the right move for you, and only you can answer that.
@bethcarter007 I have one and still use it! I also had a friend in high school who saw a teacher literally sever the end of his finger with one in front of a class. They were able to sew it back on. Not a pleasant day for anyone.
