Today, people said their final goodbye to 40-year-old Ulyana and her 15-year-old daughter Anastasia Hrytsiv, brutally killed in a russian strike on their home in Lapaivka on October 5 while they slept.
Anastasia’s father, Volodymyr, came straight from the front to mourn them.
Breaking: 12 more people have been arrested in connection with the October 4 mass demonstration, bringing the total to 35.
Georgia now has 103 political prisoners! #GeorgiaProtests
In the past few days, GD has arrested at least 26 people—and counting. The self-proclaimed PM keeps threatening protesters who gather daily on Rustaveli Ave. Yesterday, they even sent provocateurs to stir conflict.
Despite it all, even more people showed up today. Day 315. 🇬🇪✊
The possibility of ending the war in Ukraine, which emerged after the meeting between Trump and Putin, has been exhausted, said a representative of Russia’s Foreign Ministry.
Estonia has sentenced a serviceman to nearly five years in prison for spying for Russia’s FSB.
Estonian citizen Ivan Dmitriev, who between March and May 2025 cooperated with FSB officer Alexander Bobkov, passing on information. Dmitriev was a member of the Estonian voluntary defense organization Kaitseliit, where he carried out various tasks, including operating drones.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that Poland will not honor the extradition request by Germany for Volodymyr Z., a Ukrainian national who is currently wanted by European authorities for his suspected involvement in a series of explosions back in 2022 that caused significant damage to both the Nord Stream 1 and 2 Gas Pipelines in the Baltic Sea, which ran between Germany and Russia. Tusk stated that it was “not in the interest of Poland” to hand over Volodymyr, adding that, “The problem of Europe, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Poland is not that Nord Stream 2 was blown up, but that it was built — Russia, with money from some European states and German and (Anglo-) Dutch companies, built Nord Stream 2 against the vital interests not only of our states, but of all of Europe, and there can be no ambiguity about that,” indirectly calling out German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her decision to authorize Nord Stream 2.
19 years ago, on October 7, 2006, Anna Politkovskaya was murdered by Putin's hitmen. She was the first to tell the truth about Russia's mass crimes in Chechnya, which foreshadowed those in Syria, Ukraine, & elsewhere. They could have been prevented. Almost no one listened to her.
When the Nobel Peace Prize is announced on Friday, I hope it goes to the Cats of Ukraine. For their resilience, fortitude, and determination to defend their country's democracy.
This is just too rich. Austria is blocking sanctions on Russia unless it is compensated for Raiffeisenbank losses in Russia.
The SAME bank that A) offered special loans to Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine, and B) provides services to Russian defence companies producing weapons used against Ukraine.
Such utter sleaze. Nothing has changed since 2011 when Austria went out of its way to release KGB mass murder Golovatov, wanted by Interpol for killing 13 Lithuanians.
Anything for Russian money, eh?

Angela Merkel gave a major interview and declared that "part of the blame for the invasion of Ukraine lies with the Baltic states and Poland."
Interestingly, doesn't this lady also want to say something about her guilt in supporting putin?
It was under Merkel that the entire EU economy switched entirely to hydrocarbons from putin's russia and, at the same time, closed perfectly safe nuclear power plants under the pretext of their "environmental harm."
Simply astonishing shamelessness. The lady from the Stasi remains true to herself.

Continued sabotage against telecoms infrastructure along roads of southeast Sweden.
Yesterday it was revealed that a fiber optic cable undergoing maintenance has been cut on several spots along highway E22
Ie, the roads, ports, railways necessary for moving troops to Gotland.
On Sept 28, 50yo nurse Oksana Katerusha from the cardiology institute in Kyiv was killed — along with her patient — by a russian drone.
Following all safety protocols, all patients and staff had been moved to the shelter when the air raid began. But one man's condition deteriorated, and there was no way to treat him in the crowded basement. Oksana took the risk and went upstairs to help — and there, both were killed.
Her life was cut short while she was saving another.

One of Russia’s main supply routes from China has been shut down. From today, the border with Kazakhstan is fully stopped.. over 5,000 trucks are stuck, inspections are ongoing, and goods are being confiscated. Drones, EW gear, batteries, components, nothing is getting through.
My book about Maria Prymachenko has finally been published! In Kharkiv, during multiple attacks on the city. It sounds surreal – publishing books about art during full-scale war, and yet, it's true.

Fury over Angela Merkel's claim Poland is to blame for Ukraine war: European politicians say she has 'blood on her hands' after 'rewarding Russia's blatant aggression' https://t.co/8JB6JApI4f
