Shingal remains a profound wound in the body of our homeland and an enduring mark of shame upon the enemies of the Kurdish people.

​On the twelfth anniversary of the tragedy of the occupation of #Shingal and the genocide of our Yazidi sisters and brothers at the hands of ISIS terrorists, we pay tribute to the souls of the victims of this immense and heartbreaking tragedy.

In this catastrophe tragedy, countless innocent Yazidi #Kurdish civilians were subjected to the brutal crimes and atrocities carried out by #ISIS.

On the anniversary of the brutal tragedy of the genocide of eight thousand Barzanis, we bow our heads in respect to their pure souls.

Any nation that confronts death will ultimately achieve its aspirations.

Peace be upon the souls of the unjustly genocided Barzani martyrs and all the martyrs of the Kurdish liberation movement.

President @masoud_barzani received Albrecht von Wittke, the consul general of @GermanyInKRI on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in Kurdistan Region after serving as consul general for 2 years. President Barzani thanked him for his efforts in deepening the bilateral ties between Germany and the KRI

Exchanged views on organizational developments , assessing past election results , further developing our Human Resources for the future endeavors and better engagement with people. Thanked them for their steadfast commitment to implementing polices, and securing a landslide electoral victories. Briefed them on KDP’s policies on recent internal and regional political equations .

In Shekhan visited the KDP’s 20th Branch and held a detailed meeting with our senior cadres . Explained our latest assessments to the organizational work , further preparation for the future works and deepening our engagements with public to continue secure the landslide election victories as we had in this area for the last consecutive elections. A number of our cadres expressed their views, observations and suggestions.

Today in Salahadin received the Russian Consul General Maxim Rubin. Exchanged our views on recent developments . Reiterated the KDP’s firm position that there is no longer any acceptable pretext for not activating the @KurdistanParl . As KDP we are ready to have the parliament sessions restart as soon as possible . Any of those parties who have seats in parliament and blocking the parliament from convening are taking the legal, national and political responsibilities
